Ella and Leon’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of love and family, set in the picturesque Glyngynwydd Wedding Barn in Llanidloes.
The couple opted for a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, making sure every detail contributed to a day filled with joy and togetherness.
Ella and Leon used Wedding Photo Swap to collect candid photos taken by guests on the big day, along with a way to share their official wedding album.
A Heartfelt Woodland Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place in an enchanting woodland setting, surrounded by friends and family. The couple chose a handfasting ceremony, a meaningful and symbolic tradition that perfectly suited their rustic theme. Guests were invited to pick a seat, not a side, encouraging everyone to come together in unity.
Ella looked stunning in a lace wedding gown paired with silver Doc Martens, adding a unique and personal touch to her bridal ensemble. Her bridesmaids dazzled in glittering forest green dresses, while Leon complemented the rustic vibe with his attire and matching Doc Martens. The floral arrangements, featuring burnt orange, yellow and pretty pink blooms, beautifully enhanced the natural surroundings and added warmth to the day.
Celebration and Fun
After the heartfelt ceremony, the newlyweds celebrated with a lively drinks reception outdoors. Friends and family enjoyed a variety of lawn games, adding an element of fun and interaction to the afternoon. The relaxed atmosphere allowed guests to mingle freely and create lasting memories.
A Rustic Reception
As the evening approached, guests were welcomed into the barn, which was beautifully decorated with vintage bunting and fairy lights. The hessian tablecloths added to the rustic, relaxed vibe, creating a cosy and inviting space. The wedding menu featured a delightful charcuterie spread and a table brimming with desserts, including cakes, brownies, and other sweet treats, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Continuing the relaxed theme, there was no seating plan for the reception. Guests were encouraged to sit wherever they felt comfortable, fostering a sense of community and ease. Instead of a traditional guest book, Ella and Leon set up a Polaroid photo station. Guests had fun taking photos, sticking them into a book, and writing heartfelt messages, creating a unique and personal keepsake for the couple.
A Night to Remember
The evening concluded with a magical first dance, followed by hours of dancing, laughter, and love. The joyous celebration was a true reflection of Ella and Leon’s personalities and their commitment to creating a memorable experience for their loved ones.
Ella and Leon’s wedding at Glyngynwydd Barn was a perfect blend of rustic charm and heartfelt moments, set against a stunning backdrop.
Congratulations to Ella and Leon on their beautiful woodland wedding!
